Gameday Weekend in Oxford

It was an exciting, hard fought game, and by far the most talented Rebel team I've ever watched play. I hate that the ending included arguably OM's best player having his season ended, but injuries are an unfortunate possibility of all sports-football even more so than most. There were a lot of great players on the field in Vaught Hemingway last night.
As far as Oxford itself is concerned, the fans were all pretty nice to myself and everyone in my group. That said, the Grove, while really fun, is a little overrated. It's cool, but is it really that much more fun than most other SEC tailgating experiences? The campus is very pretty, and possibly my favorite away campus I've visited. The bars closing at freaking 12:30 is a joke, and anyone that pays the cover at The Library shouldn't ever be taken seriously. Franks was cool though, and was pretty heavily Auburn.
Also, which SECR poster is this?

All the Auburn fans I met yesterday in the Grove and in the bars on the Square were nice and very gracious. I've always experienced this with your fanbase though, when we play in JHS or y'all come to Oxford.

Your expectations must've been too high, bc it's one of the top 5 tailgating venues in all of college football. I guess it's like restaurant reviews, regardless of how great the place is they're will always be that one person.

I think I would've known if my mom and sister were on live tv.
Forreal tho who was the guest picker? I had to go to a kids bday party sat morning.

This was my third trip to Oxford, and I've never had a bad experience. Hopefully both teams can be on this level again in two years when we go back.

First trip. Had a good time. It was kind of a last minute decision to go so I didn't get to experience it to the fullest.
The Grove is a bit of a cluster that I would have loved 10 years ago but now not as much. However, the way a lot of the tailgates are set up is pretty sweet. Basically turning their tailgate into a living room for the day.
Fans were cool, didn't have any issues.
One question. Why were there so many tickets for sale? I would think the first ever matchup of Top 5 teams would have been a tougher ticket?

Tickets weren't quite as hot of a commodity because they lost to LSU last week if I had to guess, but I can't say that for sure.

I'm still waiting on conformation of the identity of the poster in the picture. I know someone knows who it is.

I always felt like Sorantable would look more like a methhead, but I guess I could be wrong
