Ole Miss saying they will beat Ark and State (Reply)

Arky will do exactly what LSU did to them. Same style.

I don't see why we couldn't beat either. We get State at home and State hasn't beaten an Ole Miss team with a winning record in Oxford since the 90's.

I just don't see OM being able to contain a true power run offense where they simply line it up and run right at you. State does it for sure and Arkansas can too. Ark defense may be suspect and they have shown they can falter at the end (see A&M, Bama and then yesterday against State).

State's only glaring weakness seems to be their pass defense. If you can effectively throw on them then you match up well. LSU couldn't and we suffered for it. Sort of same thing with our game against Auburn.

Exactly. I see a lot of similarities between State and Auburn especially on defense. State does have a very good pass rush though but by the time the Egg Bowl comes around, we will have our entire offensive line back. It sucks to lose such a great player in Treadwell but Bo has more than enough weapons to throw to on offense. It's just now we probably have to move Quincy out from slot to be our deep threat, which he is more than capable of. Our defense has to get it's swagger back though. We've lost it for the moment.

Whoever plays Arkansas when they stop committing dumb pre-snap penalties in crucial times of the game.

You can't be giving up yards before the snap when the opposing defense and Chaney's play calling stands between you and the endzone.
