Our boys left it all on the field last night, and there is no reason to not be proud.
The loss hurts, of course, especially considering we were a mere two inches from breaking the plane when Laquon suffered his terrible injury. However, I'm damn proud of the way we fought and answered Auburn time-and-time again.
We still have a lot to play for. The Darlings of the Magnolia State still have one more moment left in them, don't worry. This season has been a special one and it isn't over yet.

The more time there is between me and the loss the worse I feel. I'm damn proud of the boys...but frick me running could we get any less lucky?

All Freeze ever promised is 60 minutes of relentless effort, and we absolutely got that last night. The loss hurts, but nothing to be ashamed of

The ball doesn't always bounce your way, and it certainly didn't bounce our way last night, which tends to happen to teams that play Auburn.
Mississippi State will lose to Alabama and, in the craziest football atmosphere in the history of the Magnolia State, we'll have a chance to ruin their chance to get to Atlanta and maybe take away Dak's Heisman Trophy (if he doesn't do that himself, especially with the way ESPN is sucking off Mariota again).
We still have a chance at a regular season finish of 10-2 (6-2) and that's damn good, considering we're playing in the most incredible division in CFB history.

What is our bowl outlook at this point? Cotton?

I'm just sick to death for the players. They did everything right and just kept coming up short.

We're close and it will happen, eventually.

I give HJJ a fair amount of shite for throwing WAOM at me after we suffered the Bluegrass Miracle among others, but that had to be the worst possible way to lose a game I've ever seen. I was miserable for you guys last night.
I do think some things can happen that could put you back in it. I can't see State winning out. Or Bama. It's going to be a wild few weeks.

This is going to be fun to watch over the next few weeks. I absolutely love this team's resolve and resiliency. Let's make it to 10-2 and kick arse from here on.

If we go to the Cotton Bowl again I'll be pissed. I really want a Florida bowl

It's going to be hard for me to get emotionally invested again this season

If we lose to Arkansas then frick this gay earth I'm done with everything ever.

We play them there and likely at night. That has upset written all over it but thankfully we get Presbyterian and an off week before that. We get a win and a much needed week of rest.
