Without this man, we would not still be in the discussion.
Hearing that he is emerging as the leader on the defense in the locker room as well....

its been a beautiful thing to watch. if his confidence continues to soar there is no limit to how good he can become. I feel the same way about McKinzy. he is starting to come into his own and play his game.
forgot to add War Eagle Team 25!

Frost has become what we expected him to be when he was recruited. High motor and great ball hawking skill. He was awesome yesterday

I'm happy that my Holland>>>Frost thread after the Arkansas game had its desired effect. You're all welcome.

It's nice to have two Auburn linebackers again.

SEC Defensive player of the week.
AUBURN, Ala. — Kris Frost was named Monday the Southeastern Conference's defensive player of the week after his big performance at Ole Miss that included a forced fumble at the goal line to help Auburn preserve a 35-31 victory Saturday night.
Frost finished with nine tackles, forced that fumble, recovered another fumble and was in on a sack. Both fumbles occurred inside the Auburn 5-yrd line. But the play that will be remembered the most is his tackle of receiver Laquon Treadwell at the goal line with 1½ minutes to play.
Frost ran down Treadwell, catching him from behind as he approached the goal line.
"He's a strong guy and all that momentum he had moving forward toward the end zone, I was just really trying to do everything I can to stop him from going into the end zone," Frost said. "That's all I'm thinking about, just trying to get him on the ground the best way I can. With him being as strong as he is, I did have to kind of dig in and lean back on him and pull him back. I pulled him back by the waist and unfortunately that's when he kind of fell back on it and I kind of rolled up on him. And when he fell to the side, I felt the ball. I felt kind of like I hit the ball, but I didn't know the ball was out until I actually saw Cass jump on it."
Cassanova McKinzy did indeed recover the fumble in the end zone.
Treadwell suffered a fractured leg and dislocated ankle. He had surgery after the game.
"It's really unfortunate," Frost said. "I know we've all been praying for him and hoping he'll have a speedy recovery."
Frost has been hot lately with 23 tackles in the last two games.
Other SEC players of the week are Tennessee quarterback Josh Dobbs, the top offensive player; Florida's Mike McNeely, the top special teams player; Vanderbilt quarterback Johnny McCrary, the top freshman; Florida's Max Garcia, the top offensive lineman; and Missouri defensive end Shane Ray, the top defensive lineman.
