CAP has gained 100+ yards in 6 games this season. Only back in the SEC to do that so far.

i was a little critical of CAP when the O-line had not jelled yet because sometimes when theres nothing there you gotta put your head down and get what`s there and he wash`t doing that. Now that doesn`t seem to be an issue anymore.

Yep. He had an extra burst a couple of times tonight where he hit the line of scrimmage so fast he exploded through a hole where it looked like he had no room.

Major props to CAP. He is turning into one of the best backs in the league. Or I should say has turned into already.

CAP is a beast. I haven't been able to understand all of the negativity sent his way. He's not going to take one 80 yards, but he can get chunk yards any time he gets a hole.

I think it stems from his seeming knack for the infamous 'tempo' play where we run it up the middle like clockwork and the opposing D sees it coming every time.

But that's playcalling and O line, not CAP. Though he's not as explosive through the hole as some.

I was glad to see him cut and run outside the tackles tonight. He needs to do that a LOT more.

Wrong.

Totally different OL? Yes.

Totally different back? No.

Mixture of both really. CAP is doing a much better job of finding holes and bouncing outside when needed the last couple of games, as well as showing better moves. He had several runs tonight in particular where he bounced it outside for a big gain when the blocking wasn't there up the middle, and he wasn't doing that at all earlier in the season.

He also has great balance. So many times this season he's been hit, bounced off, and recovered.

Yeah, much better than the 200 yards he had in the first game.

He hasn't changed much. The play calling, the o line and fickle fan opinions have. The only thing he is doing differently is bouncing a few more outside when the holes aren't there.

Ive been on the CAP train all year. Like Roc but he is not CAP yet. Cap is the best back we have right now to get the job done...

Would love to see him rush for 1500 this year....
