Isn't Dowell an NFL OC?. Not sure he would leave that for same position in college, even if its here. Gonna have to look into Chad. Name is not familiar.

He was paid like 1 mil a year to be the QB coach at Clemson, another "high school legend" coach who made it to college on the backs of recruits.

Working pretty good for Auburn. And Ole Miss.

The state that he's a HS legend in just happens to be Texas.

I think he could help us.

I'm not one who has my thumb on the coaching ranks so I can't throw out any names. However I would like to see someone with a proven track record with a pro style offense.

I pray for Pitt to lose every game the rest of the season in a blowout so they'll fire Paul Chryst and we can bring him in as OC. That would be my dream scenario.

We do just fine losing to UGA and SCAR on our own.

I just want someone who played QB and has coached QBs. shite Barry fricking Lunney Jr would do a better job. I guarantee you he's a better QB coach and this offense is NOT THAT HARD

Not too stick up for Chaney, but Sumlin is considered to be a QB guru, he played LB, Gus is considered to be a QB guru, he played WR, during practice, at Henderson state.

It isn't the QBs so much as it is the systems, Allen is very fundamentally sound.

You're shitting me. He's done nothing but throw off his back foot all year.

I question that as well. He not exactly accurate with his throws.

Anytime we have Allen throwing 40 times in a game we're going to lose. However, I did say in the game thread that getting zero points in the first half from that pick and the 3 and out after pinning them inside the 10 would come back and haunt us.

We leave too many points on the field to win in the SEC West

If Allen is fundamentally sound, let's start teaching our QB's something else

All of this. That pick by Ellis should have been 6, and settling for that first FG in the red zone and not converting killed us last night.

Simply put, we're missing field goals we should make, settling for 3 when we should have 6, and punting when we should have been in manageable 3rd down situations but fricked ourselves by bad playcalling and/or stupid penalties.

We've made leaving points on the field an art form this season.
