So your folks haven't been throwing around the "historically we're better", "we won the East last season and ran you off the field", and all that jazz?

Well, cheesey brought it up in his usual subtle jabs at Mizzou way. Thats all I responded to in that thread. I have no beef with UK, you know that. Grits just earned the ire of Mizzou types.

The stuff on our board hasnt got anything to do with what I posted in that thread last night. Most Mizzou types respect your team and are worried about the game.

I get Grits is your boy but he is what he is when it comes to Mizzou. Hope you are not going to try and deny that history.

I assume grits just doesn't like Yankees. Which is a perfectly reasonable and defensible position.

808 is literally the only one I've seen come out and say there's a good chance you drop the game.

That's an awful lot of confidence with just a 6.5 point spread when you get 3 just for being at home.

I've called out Grits at times as much anybody. He'd probably tell you that himself.

But it certainly isn't exclusive to little spats with Grits.

Well, Belle, you are not looking in the right places. Most Mizzou fans I know here and talk to in real life are looking at this as a close game that we could very well lose.

There isnt a lack of respect for UK, especially after the game you all gave State, from most fan I know. Outside the SECr antics I dont think you need to be looking for the disrespect card. Kentucky is much improved team and could easily win tomorrow.

Your own board has a thread that's convinced Mauk runs a better offense than Towles. And that Mizzou has a decided advantage. Don't try to blame all that on Grits too.

Nice broad brush, Belle. Maybe one or two people think Mizzou has any kind of decided edge.

What's up anyway? You've had your hackles up for a while now. Is it a disrespect thing?

I look at Kentucky's QB and WRs and am jealous. It's the type of stuff we usually have and don't right now.

You didn't say anything about losing the game. Your backup could be the next Brett Favre for all I know.

Who's the most popular guy on the team? The backup QB. Always has been, always will be.

After breaking down the common opponents between the respective (haha) schools

Kentucky vs. Florida L

Mizzou vs. Florida W

Good teams find ways to win (You still gave up a passing touchdown to Jeff Driskel on fourth down), Mizzou had no offense in the Florida game and still won by almost 30 points

Mizzou vs. USCe W

Kentucky vs. USCe for the NCAA championship W

USCe sucks but Mizzou won on the road so edge to Mizzou

Mizzou vs. Vandy W

Kentucky vs. Vandy W

Push both teams won by 10, but Mizzou faced the better starting QB.

Kentucky vs. LSU L

arse beating!

Kentucky vs. MSU L

Congrats, you still lost by two touchdowns

So tell me how Kentucky is destined to beat Mizzou again ?

The flip to that would be the UK rushing defense.

Mizzou can run the ball and play defense, thankfully, or else we would be looking at a terrible year.

Its an interesting circumstance

UK fans seem fairly sure about a win against Mizzou and Mizzou fans are leery.
