He's out of there. He's from New Hampshire. No loyalty to the state or university. He'll go to Florida and call Florida State "that school up north". Same gimmick--different names.

So you're saying that MSU will be willing to pay Mullen $5.25M, equal to Stoops.

Yes. We're paying him $3.3 base this year for going 7-6, 8-5, 7-6 -- with potential bonuses to bump it to $3.8 or $3.9.

You really think we are going to let him walk over an extra $1.3? When we've got a stadium that brought an extra $10mil on top of record private donations on par with the elite of the SEC for the past 4 years to go along with upcoming SECNetwork money?

Will we pay him $5.25? Probably not. Because no one is going to offer him that much to try to take him from us therefore not really forcing our hand. We're going to pay him enough that no one will try to take him from us directly over money...

Last time we had an MPSA quarterback he slung that shite around like Dan Marino. Seth Adams doesn't count because Marshall blows. I'm talking about tGOAT Delta quarterback Stewart Patridge

Oh no way, you're in trouble.

"LSU will murder State"

"Hill will feast on State's D"

"Auburn will roll"

"OM will embarrass LSU"

How long will it take you to realize your predictions are as bad as Bundy's ALL DAWG picks?

Nobody is that bad. Except PEEJ. He predicted us to win last week by 10+

And we may be in trouble without Bo next year but whoever our next quarterback is won't have very much stress on him. He's being handed the keys to a Porsche with all of his key skill players coming back (minus Sanders)

Same is true at MSU. With a couple of totally elite playmakers coming.

an even better offensive line than this year with more depth.

State also returns 4 guys up front with starting experience. At some point, people are going to have to accept that this isn't likely to be a problem for us under Hevesy regardless of how many starz we recruited.

quote:

I think FSU without Winston would have lost to Notre Dame but they did beat a pretty damn good Clemson team without him

They survived Clemson at home in OT. Same Clemson team Spurrier is going to thump for the 6th or 7th time in a row in spite of being the 9th or 10th best team in the SEC this year.

quote:

State would be around 15-20 without Dak. Your defense is good enough and you have Robinson to keep you there.

That's probably pretty close. But the point is -- practically no elite team is the same without their starting QB. So I don't see how that can be held against us.

Calling it now -- the winner of the Fitzgerald/Staley battle is going to be hell on wheels in 2 more years. Fitz is well ahead at this point.

Which one was the baseball star that y'all signed? Did he end up coming to State or did he go play baseball?

If he's confident that either of those guys are the answer, why is he starting to recruit the guy at EMCC so hard?

My cousin is good friends with Mullen's wife and she says there is no way they are leaving, however he husband (who is the biggest MSU fan in the world not named clanga) says that he believes that he is gone after the season is over unless they are in the playoffs. Money and the ability to win a natty talks and bullshite walks.

I said we were going 10-2 at the beginning of the season with losses to Bama and AU... Pretty good guess so far.

Depth?
Both have looked good in practice and Buchanan in his playing time hasn't looked bad at all.

I don't want him. I'm tired of having transfer quarterbacks.

Sandberg is playing pro ball. For now...

He's got 1-2 more years in milb before being back at MSU unless he makes big strides soon...

K.

We're pretty worried about it either way.
