if we had a competent AD we might be able to get a small concession like giving us the ole miss game on the closest saturday to halloween.

The reason it hasn't happened is then LSU would have to give up the bye before the Bama game. As we all know, the weekend after Halloween is when Bama wants to play LSU, therefore, that is when it is played.

Without a doubt! Ole Miss vs LSU is a part of Halloween as far as I am concerned.
