And yet he's led his team to victory 3 times more this season than every NFL QB who's come out of Bama since Bryant retired.

Combined.

i`m afraid he will end up being remembered as a bust, the panthers are a poor organization maybe not Raiders bad but bad. Trade his best weapons and put freakin Mike Shula over the offense, not sure any QB could overcome this.

The Shula shite is overblown. They suck because they have zero OL. They had some rookie scrub from Canada getting thrown around all game tonight like a ragdoll.

He'll leave at the end of the year most likely.

Cam was one of the best college QBs I've ever seen, in the one year I saw him play . . . but it doesn't necessarily translate to the pros. I think expectations on the guy were escalated due to not having seen him but one year - with a great surrounding cast - and make no doubt, his teammates were great, though he got most of the attention.

You know, the guy is just not playing good and doesn't appear (just by observing him on the sidelines) to be leading very well. He may be, but perceptions seem like reality to many. He may never be a great QB in the pros. But to continually put blame on everyone else except him is . . . , well, look at Trent Richardson, he was a freakin' beast in college, unstoppable at times . . . and has been a below-average back in the NFL. I think most people will admit this.

Greg Olsen is his best receiver and he doesnt target him enough (yes there's a FF bias).

He doesn't take second, third looks.

Cam made an average Saints secondary look good tonight.

The difference is Cam has proven himself to be a very good pro. He holds the record for rushing TD's by a QB which he set in his rookie year. He doesn't throw a ton of picks, passes for 20+ td's a year, is a 2-time pro bowler, and led his team to the playoffs. They just don't have much on offense this year, and Shula's conservative play calling isn't helping. They were great under Chudzinski.

I don't know, the Panthers are not a well managed team. Hard to win like that. Cam would be wise to get out.

And Kelvin Benjamin seems to like to drop TD passes and that OL has 4/5 players undrafted out of college. You're not going to throw well when this is your Oline in pass coverage:

Why do I have a feeling AU fans would defend him if he was torturing kittens?

Ya know, maybe he will never be a great NFLer. No big deal. It happens.

I wish they would throw more to Benjamin! Dude can snag some balls and is huge. Play a lot of jump ball with the guy.

He dropped a TD against the Seahwaks and one tonight though. He'll be good in time but not yet.

Yeah you caught us. AU fans are so unreasonable thinking you could be wrong. So let's take a giant leap in saying we would defend him killing animals.

Not what you said in 2009 when he was running wild on Alabama on his way to a national championship.
