So...I was doing some research...Are we talking about the first word Verne says on CBS even if its before the official broadcast of the game?
OR
Is it his first word after 3:30? and during the game broadcast?

Absolutely. And if he invents a word, we'll do our best to spell it out as conventionally as possible.
Also, if the word ends with consecutive consonants like "Todd" or consecutive vowels like "frisbee"......let's make it double points accordingly. (+2 or -2)

After 3:30 when the CBS broadcast starts...
The normal format is they'll be doing the in-studio early game highlights etc back in new york or wherever, And then they'll send it to Verne and Gary...... the screen goes momentarily black, then it opens with some video of the stadium or crowd or whatever with Verne saying a few introductory remarks.
The first sentence of this is what we are focusing on.
