Would you come back to play at UGA if you were Gurley?

Why take the risk of injury?

because we'll be 8-1 with the SEC and national title still on the line?

Yes

Because not a pussy.
Because would like to compete for a championship.

If I was Gurley, I wouldn't have went there in the first place. So, I suspect given his poor judgment, he'll go back.

As long as NFL teams don't care about it, why should Gurley?
Posted on 10/30/14 at 10:39 am to weagle99
Because he could win a championship and not dick over his teammates who he made a commitment with.

Depends on the situation. Is UGA still a one-loss team that controls it's own destiny? Then yes.
Has UGA lost a game and are they out of the Championship picture? Then no.
Has UGA lost a game and are they out of the Championship picture? Then no.

This. If we lose to UF or UK then I would not really care if he chose to not return but if we are 8-1 going into Auburn I would consider him a quitter with no pride.

He'll come back because he wants to go in dry on the barn
...and he's not a douche so he doesn't want his teammates to hate him
Can't say I'd blame him if he left, but that would be a really shitty way to go out for one of the best players in UGA history

Cause he's not a pussy. He's got insurance. He wants to play. He has something to prove to himself and his fans. Cause he's not a pussy.
Whose a bigger pussy:
Todd Gurley if he doesn't play anymore, OR
Auburn fans scared of Gurley playing against them between the hedges

He's got a chance to win a national title and I'm sure he loves his teammates and feels like he's let them down enough already.
Posted on 10/30/14 at 10:49 am to weagle99
Yes. Because he's a football player and a teammate. Risk of injury doesn't have much influence over the 20 year old, bullet proof, athlete mindset.

Not a chance!
He's a known quantity, and the NFL is right to be drooling over him.
Don't take the wear and tear, risk of injury for no payment.
He gone, and good luck to him!

Gurley won't win the Heisman, but UGA has a chance at the playoffs
