Does anyone know where Bama is staying while in B.R next week? Will be at the game and was going to try and stay with other fans at the same hotel. Any help is appreciated!

I actually have no idea. The basketball team usually stays at the Marriott but that probably doesn't help you

Why would you not stay in New Orleans?

Live near New Orleans. Was going to stay in B.R. Friday night to tailgate early that morning!

I dont know the hotel, but I agree about staying in BR. I live in New Orleans and that traffic is a bitch on game day.

Are you planning to stay Saturday night too?

If so, I'd consider the hotels that will be the easiest to get to and most importantly back to after the game. Traffic was surprisingly not terrible after the Ole Miss game, but the Bama game is a different animal with the number of people on campus who don't go to the game.

Agreed. We need to start a early roll call for next week.

Away team always stays at the Crown Plaza on constitution off college drive. I used to work at Ninfa's, the Mexican resturaunt next door, when I was in undergrad. After Katrina I was working a lot and one week Auburn stayed there, the next week the Carolina Panthers stayed there (Saints were playing at TS) and then when the Hornets had a game here the Suns stayed there too.

I wonder if it's like the U.S. Men's Soccer team traveling to Mexico.

Once their hotel is known.... everyone makes sure to honk their horns while driving by to keep the visitors from sleeping.

actually now that you mention it before i think the 2008 game some people called a bunch of rooms at like 3am and saban made sure they were at a different, not so well known, hotel for 2010. So i'm not really sure for this game. I could be thinking of another team though.

but yes, there have been incidents over the years.
