Has Sims played as well on the road as at home?

How is your team health? We have one of our DB's out for a while...I know big Cam is likely out. Anyone else? Hope Cam has a speedy recovery

He's been Heisman level on the road, has played like Jordan Jefferson at home.

Cam is the only new injury we'll have, but it's a huge one. Going to require some shuffling on the offensive line. The entire team struggled some in the first couple of road games (one against the OM defense0, but looked completely difference at UT. I know it's UT, but their defense is actually, statistically, one of the best in the conference. We converted 11 of 15 3rd downs (a lot via the pass) and scored TDs on our 1st four drives. It was encouraging to see them potentially turn that corner away from home.

sounds like we'll have a traditional fist fight on our hands..hope we can hold up.

I see a lot of personal fouls from our side. Their just so emotional and young lol

Haha, hopefully our guys won't get caught up in that. They're not quite as young as LSU, but still more inexperienced in a lot of areas than we're used to seeing at Alabama.

Did you read his whole post or do you just have no sarcasm-detecting ability whatsoever?

He hasn't done as well on the road.

Right now a bunch of our players are banged up.

Big Cam has a high ankle sprain and is out for the LSU game. The good news (for us) is that Reggie Ragland has really come into his own (now leads the team in tackles and made the Butkus semi-finalist list) and the secondary seems to have finally turned the corner (completely shutdown A&M's pass game-- which I think was near number 1 in the nation).

seriously...they talk a lot of shite. This is good to a point i guess. 2011 has mega shite talkers on it. Jamal Adams should be an actor. Anyone touches him...he feigns like they threw him to the ground lol.

Until our punter gets in on the shite talking too, these guys aren't as bad about it as 2011 IMO.

I still love it. Our defense performs better when we have some good shite talkers on it.

Beckwith is a monster now for us...he has really come on. I have never been this excited for an lsu lber. He reminds me very much of an Alabama lber.

he plays so fast at 250. I remember watching Ragland in the high school AA game. He was brutal.

Yea I only watched a few minutes of a replay of LSU/OM but Beckwith seemed to be everywhere. Ragland has turned into the same type of player for us recently. He's been a star. He made an INT against A&M that was just ridiculous.

I am actually amazed at how healthy our team is. To go this far in the season with no major injuries in key positions. We have 3 games left and 2 bye weeks. weird.

I could only imagine if our WDE hunter played lber in sabans defense.

I know you guys run a 3-4...but when watching games i see you guys have 4 down linemen a lot.

We have been playing 4 down a lot more this year, but this is by far the deepest and most talented group of defensive linemen we've had under Saban. A lot of times though in the 4 down look you'll notice at least one of the guys on the end is a speed rusher up from the LB spot. We've been doing that more on 3rd down this year.
