I like watching Auburn lose but we may need them to be a one loss team when they come to Athens. Bama looks as if they get better each week. The Ole Miss defense is nasty but bad Bo makes them beatable. And I can tell you, we want no part of Miss State in Atlanta. What say the Dawg Rant?

Need Auburn to win the next 2 weeks.

Don't really "need", just want, makes for a better match up in Athens.

It doesnt matter if we win out we are in. All the teams on our schedule could lose every game they play.

Yeah, we don't NEED Auburn to be a one loss team when they come to Athens. They could come with 3 losses and we could still end up in the playoff. However...I would rather beat a 1 loss team than a 2 or 3 loss team if given the option.

As for who to pull for, I'm pulling for whoever is playing against Moo State.

I think Auburn beats Ole Miss.

As I said many times before, I want the Gumps in the SECCG in the worst way.

As long as we win out, I don't have to worry about cheering for the enemy.

I think Bama would kill us...flashbacks of Swann vs Cooper in the 4th qtr.

I want MSU, that would be fun to watch.

Crucify him for last year if you must, but Damian Swann has turned his ship around, IMO. He's gone from a liability to an asset in the secondary.

I agree with his productivity this year is light years of what we have seen in the past.

However, Cooper would school that kid all day.

I would like to say this is true, but looking at the voting by the so-called committee, I am not so sure if we won the SEC that would be get an automatic invite.

Let's say that somehow each team from the west has a couple of losses by the time the SECCG rolls around. The voters could look at that and say, well they are really weak. And let's say that FSU wins out, oregon, ND, and whoever else big school has one loss. Would they put us - with a "weak" sched - ahead of the likes of those listed?

Ole Miss. The Rebs still control their own destiny and I consider them the most beatable of the West contenders. If they win out, beating division leading MSU in the Egg Bowl, then Ole Miss goes to the SECCG by virtue of their win over Bama. Their loss to LSU will be of no consequence since LSU already has 2 SEC losses.

My guess, however, is that Auburn beats Ole Miss Sat. but loses to Bama, Bama beats MSU and plays Georgia in a rematch of the 2012 SECCG.

I could definitely see it shaking out like this. Dawgs will be in for a fight, but damn that would be a satisfying win.

For sure. Cooper schooled Hargreaves, BUT teams that have bracketed Cooper have had success stopping Bama. The teams that have tried to play him straight up have gotten killed.

Man coverage with safety help over the top and a linebacker dropping underneath in support. Make Bama throw it to somebody else to move the ball.

I doubt Pruitt would put anyone 1-1 with Cooper if we matched up with them.

ETA: Just saw Crow's post above. What he said.

I care. The commitee puts a lot of emphasis on SOS. We need Auburn and Georgia Tech to win out.

Ok. We don't NEED them too, but it would be beneficial. Hate to pull for either of them, but.....
