I disagree. It was a big deal then but now A&M has been aborted from State fans brains. Not so much s an afterthought at this point.

This really has been one of the best seasons ever for the SEC Rant because it has been so much more than Alabama-LSU flame/stat wars.
Way more fanbases involved week-to-week. We have gone 7-8 solid fanbases deep this year bringing it regularly.
USCe fans were crowing before the season. Then, A&M took over. Then, we had the classic week of State fans Grinding LSU into oblivion, then A&M begging for the Grind and not getting it, then Auburn destroying LSU and State beating Auburn and Ole Miss beating Bama. Finally, we had LSU rising from the ashes to humiliate Ole Miss and Bo's meltdown.
The threads have been classic. So many great moments. But, I still think A&M begging for the Grind and not getting it and then getting blown out was the best.
