no, he doesn't. the week prior against Auburn Garcia was 15/21 for 235 yards with 3 TDs and 0 INTs. You beat Alabama by not letting them do what they want to do....run the ball effectively. I provided the stats. You can chose to accept them or not. Oddly enough, that's generally the recipe to beat LSU as well. I know it's a crazy thought, but generally the best teams in the country are the ones who control the LOS.

2011 had nothing to do with QB. LSU had the second best defense of the BCS era after 2011 Bama, so JJ didn't have to be great.

Wish you script A's would make up your minds. I didn't think anyone could beat Bama, that only Bama can beat Bama

This thread is straight out of the Bama Apologetics Encyclopedia.
- Ignore specific years that don't support your point, check.
- Claim other coaches got lucky, check.
- Claim opponents' QB had "game of his life", check.

what's your point in all of this, seriously? you said the only way to beat Alabama and then gave 3 ways to do it. Way to go out on a limb bro. In all but one of Alabama's losses in your arbitrary time frame, they have been held FAR below their season average in rushing yardage, 5 times being held almost at 100 yards or less. You keep dodging that because you know it's true. You don't need outstanding QB play to beat Alabama, sorry.

"Yes," Danielson said. "I do believe there is a formula if you're going to have a chance to beat great football teams and Alabama is the current great football team.
"If you look at the formula for teams that have beaten them in the past, you have to start at excellence at quarterback. It doesn't mean you throw 50 times. You can. It's an option, but you have to be able to throw at an elite level. They gobble up inferior quarterbacks. They just do. No matter who you are. No matter how good you are, if you have inferior quarterback play, the gobble you up, OK? That's including anybody and any style.

Why? He knows much more about football than anyone posting on this message board.
"I stopped reading at _____" is my favorite guy on the internet though.

You do realize that 70% of the QBs you just posted weren't ever close to being all-americans?
So basically, your thread is terrible and you should feel like an a-hole.

Alabama has lost two games with the opposing team throwing less than 100 yards, fact. So is that "throwing at an elite level" as Danielson put it? I guess he used enough analytical cliches for it to help your argument, though.

I'd like to see how 2011 LSU defense would do if they got to face 2011 LSU offense like 2011 Alabama defense did.

honestly, the way to beat Alabama is to try to make them throw at an elite level. More times than not, when you're able to do that, Alabama loses: see stats provided on Alabama rushing totals in losses. Or choose to ignore it like you've been doing this entire thread

Losing to Ole Miss is also the best thing on Bama's resume so far.

here's the entire Danielson interview for those interested. he also says you have to have athletes, on both sides, on the outside and match them physically. So basically, Danielson is saying you need to be good all over the field, no way!!! And this interview was in reference to LSU matching up with Alabama last season.
