To beat Alabama under Nick Saban, you need an All-American QB,

An average QB to play the game of his life or have Les Miles as your coach. Promising stat for LSU, Miss St., and Auburn as they prepare to face the Tide this season.

Barring 2007, here are the QB's that have beat Saban's Alabama teams

2008- Tim Tebow
Brian Johnson (best career game)

2009- n/a

2010 - Stephen Garcia (best career game)
Jordan Jefferson (Les Miles voodoo)
Cam Newton (Camback)

2011- Jordan Jefferson/Jarrett Lee (Les Miles Voodoo)

2012 - Johnny Manziel

2013 - Nick Marshall
Trevor Knight (best career game)

2014- Bo Wallace (arguably best career game)

Very few good teams lose to teams who have a bad QB.

Manziel and Marshall aren't even good QBs. You need a good running game, however you can get it. Not QBs.

If it was about having a baller QB, Murray and Mettenberger should've beaten Bama.

Did you not watch him throw? Outside of a few clutch throws, he was absolutely awful.

No

Stephen Garcia, game of his life in 2010? Even as bad as he was, 200 yards with an INT and 2 TDs isn't the best game he ever had. It was the biggest win but not his best game. USC won that game because Alabama had 36 total yards rushing.

Trevor Knight's best game? Well yeah, probably. He was a freshman. Alabama also had only 129 yards rushing as a team.

To beat Alabama, the common theme has been to stop the run, not have excellent QB play. Go look at those numbers

2008 losses:
Florida - 136 yards
Utah - 31 yards

2010 losses:
LSU - 102 yards
USC - 36 yards
Auburn - 69 yards

2011:
LSU - 96 yards

2012:
A&M - 122 yards

2013:
Auburn (outlier) - 212 yards
Oklahoma - 129 yards

2014:
Ole Miss - 168 yards

His coach, a Heisman winning QB himself, disagrees.

Still waiting on you to tell me how many top 40 defenses Alabama has faced as you continually dip out of threads. Go back to the political board and whine some more about voter ID laws.

Brian Johnson from Utah now coaches Dak Prescott so he embodies three of the greats in one person; Dak, Brian and Tebow.
