I'm not a feminist by any stretch of the measure (I advocate for equality), but some of this made me uncomfortable to some degree.
Whatever makes guys act this pathetic and desperate isn't a good look no matter how you slice it. They were harassing her -- when a girl doesn't respond to you, get over it and move on.
Worse was when those dudes followed her for a while and kept talking to her. Even if you're a guy when someone starts following you, you get defensive and at the very least you figure you can fight back -- she can't. That kind of behavior needs to stop.

I get it. if you live in Montgomery Alabama maybe it will stop. In New York, its just the culture. 99% of that shite is harmless.

Out of all that "harassment," there were maybe only a couple of instances where the guy probably should have backed off.
But you know what? Thise situations could have been easily defused by a nod of acknowledgment, a smile, or even just a "sorry big guy, I'm late getting to ______," instead of just a stoic bitch face.
You want actual harassment? Try going through what my mom and some of my sisters did living in Greece. Getting men coming up to them propositioning them for sex and trying to force Euros into their hands because for most Greeks, the only black women they see walking down the street irl are African hookers.
That's harassment--this bitch can get the frick outta here with her county attitude. Got scores of women in this country with self-esteem issues and having trouble viewing themselves as desirable, and she's gonna carp about hours of walking around and being told to her face how beaitiful she is? Gimme a break
