Rebs were playing AT UF. It was very hot. Player was not wearing a jersey.
Refs told him he had to; so, he asked them to show him in the rule book. They couldn't find a rule requiring a jersey.
So, he finished the game without a jersey & the next year there was a new rule.
I Think the player was Tadpole Smith, but not sure.
