While I agree, you left out the part about the fervent Gurley supporters.

When family members make mistakes we back then anyway. Gurley is a Dawg and I stand behind him on this. It shouldn't be 4 games.

I don't.
If a family member does something wrong I don't get on the news and start screaming "He didn't do nothing. He was a good boy." I avoid the news and say "No comment." But hey that's me.
Just because we are family doesn't mean I'm jumping off the cliff with you or am contractually bound to support what you do 100%.

Bury your heads in the sand!!!! Gurley is a victim! He is poor! Boo fricking hoo!
I wonder. Could there be a correlation between this widespread illogical impulse to rationalize and ignore everything..........with all the boner-pill and Low-T commercials on tv these days?
Maybe, ignoring reality and looking the other way has some pent-up psychological effect where the body begins to neuter itself. Natures way of trying to keep the weak from reproducing or something. I don't know.. Strange Times.

I tend to think the ones with their heads buried in the sand are the ones who think "student-athletes" getting money for their own signature makes them bad people, but hey, maybe that's just me
Gurley broke a rule that he knew would have consequences if he got caught. He got caught and is now facing those consequences under the current system. It was a mistake. There's no need to take it any further than that.

All of Gurley's friends were getting covered in expensive tattoos and buying the latest flat-bills and cranium accessories..........but Gurley, our UGA family member, couldn't afford these necessities of life.
I'd like to see these bullies criticizing him try to endure such a plight...
Get off his arse already!!!

You're right. Chances for winning the Heisman and becoming a Legend at your school grow on trees.....
Hey. Let's all hold hands and celebrate his WASTED OPPORTUNITY and mindless display of stupidity!

I think it's a stupid rule. He should be able to sell all the autographs he wants. Sign shite til his hand draws up, as long as he can hold on to the ball. I just feel that by knowingly breaking the rule he has screwed his team. For that, he shouldn't be the starter when and if he comes back.

No one's celebrating the wasted opportunity.

That's fine, but it's my opinion that we shouldn't further screw the team by playing an inferior player when he comes back. Chubb is excellent, but not as good as Gurley right now.
He'll serve his punishment, and then the team will be able to move on.

Ok, but what about the fat boys up front? Nobody wants their autographs but superstars like Gurley get $$$$$$. How do you make that fair to the TEAM?

You don't make it fair. It's the free market

Different issue. I can't deal with that one today. Too busy slamming our greedy, selfish superstar. Check back with me next week.
