I think revenge was a big factor in both games, as well. Both AU and State played with an edge that LSU never matched. You could see the shellshock, especially against AU. I actually think the revenge factor helped the Tigers last weekend, as they had done of that edge against OM.
I'm not using this as an excuse. There was 1 player between the 2 teams that had ever seen a win over LSU. That can be a big motivating factor, and it's difficult for the other team to match. But, just like inexperience, it's part of the game. Handle it or get beat.

Why were those games blow outs? What area of the game was subpar that lead to both teams gaining convincing victories?
MLB/DL play.
The middle of the field was wide open vs both Auburn and MSU for QBs to gash us.

It appears LSU fans believe other teams are not allowed to give reasons for their loss to LSU, but are okay with doing it themselves when they lose to other teams. I believe there is a word for that.

He's kind of a hack. Always horrible in these threads.

I think AU fans were arguing, in hindsight, the team was different (no read-option utilization) during the LSU game, and the outcome would probably be different in a rematch. I don't think that's unfair.
Maybe so. Who knows? You play the games when you play them and you can't relive every game.
Who cares?
LSU is much better now than a month ago, but they still probably lose to State and Auburn.
Auburn got down 21-0 last year half way through the 3rd quarter. Too bad you didn't come ready to play. Making excuses about that game is pretty sad, honestly.
You lost. You should own it and move on. The game was not as close as the score and LSU definitely let the foot off the gas.
But, If you had played later in the season, you very well might have won. Auburn got better.
What does it matter? It is impossible to prove.

Inexperience. Young team got their doors blown off. Dominated. No way around it.

Yup. 41-7.
Brandon Harris learned what it is like to play in the SEC. No joke.

In a nutshell if we had to play them now it would be a different ballgame. Offense, defense, special teams we are better all around than we were a month ago
