Does anyone give Kiffin a chance against Chavis, in Tiger Stadium, at night? I think Bama offense will struggle as badly as they did against Ole Miss and Arky.

Bama's defense will have to win the game which may not be that hard against LSU's O but I don't expect more than 10 points to be scored

I think everyone with a brain thinks that Alabama can win the Saturday after next.

The same John Chavis that got his arse whipped by Major Applewhite? Kiffin can beat Chavis with half his brain tied behind his back.

Change Bama to OM in that quote and you have what every OM fan said last week too...how did that work out for them? Our Oline/Rb's are unstoppable at the moment, I'm sure Bama's Dline could give them fits at times....but, they will not stop them and we will get our yards. Book it

Never been much of a Chavis fan. LSU recruits really well on defense, however.

After he spent a decade whopping your favorite team, I would imagine you weren't a big fan of his.

If they're smart they'll run it. And while LSU may have the best chance of limiting Cooper as any team in the country, there is no shutting that guy down.

I think LSU is going to have to score more than a handful of points in this one.

I don't credit him with doing that as much as I credit Fulmer and poor Alabama coaching.

Alabama is a tougher matchup for LSU than Ole Miss. Much bigger DLineman and LB's, built to stop a power rush team like LSU.

Ole Miss' run game is almost non existent. LSU will have to account for Yeldon and Henry, not to mention Sims too.

Chavis > Lane Kiffin*

*Because Lane Kiffin will have 3/4 of his Waffle House menu blacked out by Saban.

First team to 21 wins.

Then you don't know anything about football For about a decade he kept Bama from scoring more than 17 points in a game.

You do have to give Chavis credit though. No other DC at a major program has a cluster frick of a defense named after him. Pretty impressie accomplishment. I can't ever remember hearing anyone utter the words "Third and Kirby".

At this point, Cooper seems to be Bama's only offensive player. Contain him and Bama is forced to rely on their fumble prone RB's and a QB who is now feeling pressure and likely to make mistakes.

That's funny shite, but quite accurate. I'm betting the playbook on our side is going to be even more vanilla than normal as well. I'm thinking this could be a rerun of 9-6.

He found a way to let Major Applewhite get DJ Hall 13 catches in 2007, so yea I think there is a decent shot.

Do you always just make up shite as you go along? For the record, Alabama averaged 20 points a game against Tennessee during Chavis's tenure as DC, including one game of 34 points and two games of over 40 points. A total of 286 points in 14 games from 1995 through 2008.

Go ahead, you can admit it. It's OK. We know you don't know shite.

As they usually do as a single digit road favorite, Alabama will come out tight as hell. The gameplan for Sims will not be any different than if McElroy was in there.

I know it takes a lot to expect you to be able to count, but I thought you could handle it. What does decade mean? Please don't disappoint me by not knowing.
