To the high handed popes of the gsb in this thread. I hope the next time one of you hits a joint with your brother in law at a cookout you catch a random at work two days later, lose your job and your kids end up in foster care

Some rules are fricking dumb. Like seatbelt and sodomy laws. Most of question authority on many issues and should. If I was an "amateur athlete" playing for 4 and 5 million dollar a year coach and reading about billion dollar TV deals you can all suck my dick over signing my name for a couple dollars.

He may be a dumbass for not covering his tracks better, but gtfo with this selfish piece of shite rhetoric

His mom has a goldmine for a son, she can wait another 5 more months before he's a millionaire. Im not buying the "doing it for his family" bs. His mom will be richer than I ever will be.

I wonder how they'll feel about having more than half of his new income confiscated by the government now..............

Hopefully, he won't try to break any of those stupid rules either. THose rules don't get you suspended from football games. They get you thrown in a cage by men in costumes.

I didn't say that.

But, that's a good point. They're pretty similar concepts.....

It's a dumb rule that Gurley can't be paid for signing his autograph. Because nobody gets hurt. And because no "crime" is being committed.

And it's also a dumb rule that people can't keep the money they earn. Because nobody is being hurt. And because no "crime" is being committed.........

Both scenarios are immoral and illogical. But, at least the NCAA doesn't claim to have the right to throw you in a cage or put a bullet in your head if you don't comply though.........

I'm not saying it wasn't a mistake. It clearly was a mistake.

Mistake implies at least a degree of inadvertence. Like it or not, his actions were deliberate.

He smells like a rose next to Jameis Wilson, but that's a pretty low bar.
