Interesting - $3,000 is a lot more than $400, so I guess that timeline makes sense. Also, "multiple individuals".

I thought once you gave up your amateur status, you couldn't get it back?

Used to be, they've softened on that though. AJ Green also had to sit 4 games and that was for only $1000 I believe.

Yea, and it was from more than one person.
680 talked about the $400 number like it was fact. Shocking.

The NCAA is such a joke.
I mean, we can debate the NCAA and their rules, but this seems like a pretty fair enforcement of the known rules.
4 games for $3,000 over multiple years seems pretty fair to me in comparison to previous punishments.

Cost him a Heisman and a potential national championship for UGA if we lose to Florida or Kentucky. I bet he feels pretty shitty now.

Guess it would depend on how much someone took. I'm assuming if they take a lot more, it would be enforced. But it's the selectivity of the NCAA that's dangerous.

Nice little coincidence for Morality University
They get him back just in time for their one game play-in to the dance
