Our West Virginia friends let us down

WVU plays TCU at home this weekend. A West Virginia win would help us out tremendously should Ole Miss win out.

Yep, if they win out it's theirs...their only conference loss is to OU and OU already has 2 conference losses...

Gotta like WVU's chances. They get TCU AND Kansas State at home. Probably gonna be a couple of shootouts, but if they can win those games they win the Big XII.
Though they have to watch out. Texas hasn't been good, but going to Texas between TCU and K-State could be a trap game. Good news for them though is they get 12 days off between Texas and K-State.
They'll then have to make sure they don't get complacent against Iowa State in Ames. We all know how they can upset a team.

Well we're pulling for you. Every week it seems I get to make a "Look at WV now!" thread on here to remind the poster who used that game to bash the team of how poor their judgement was.

I feel like an idiot right now. Care to explain how this helps Bama?
We aren't in the BCS anymore. I doubt anyone on the committee remembers we played them by now.

TCU is one of my favorite non-Bama teams, but gotta pull for WVU here.

They're looking at all of the info they can get. If WVU wins the Big XII and Bama only has one loss, even without the SEC Title, in that situation there is no way you keep Bama out.

It helps us if WVU wins the Big 12. They will have knocked off both TCU and Kansas State, eliminating them from the playoff discussion.
If we and Ole Miss both win out we would finish the season as a one loss team that beat another Power 5 conference champion at a neutral site.
It would help our chances of getting in tremendously.
