I can't believe we just fell for that so easily because we were so excited there was going to finally be a playoff. We never fought for consolidation of the polls plus computers... and taking the top 4.

I couldn't care less where Bama is ranked today... those of you thinking this is going to work like the polls did are seriously mistaken... they could keep the polls just like they are and make it look like it used to be and then on the last day decide to take only conference champions.

Perusing Alabama's remaining schedule, they still have LSU,MSU and Auburn out there, and Western Carolina. They could win out. They coud drop one, two, or three out of the remaining four. One must savor the possibilities of low Tide or even no Tide in the playoffs.
