Been into gambling for the better part of my life, don't do it anymore though. Vegas always tells the story. People mention why a line is what it is and their explanations are hilarious. Sharps know Vegas isn't building these big buildings b/c they don't know what they're doing.
Ole Miss was -3.5 at LSU. The line never moved significantly and closed at 3.5 as well. Any bettor with any real experience could have told you that the sharps were ALL over LSU and the public was betting Ole Miss at about a 20/80 rate. Sharps put more money per bet so the amount of money is still the same. That's just a basic point spread 101 rule.
When teams are undefeated and not used to it, when they get beat they generally play down the next game as well. This theory could be excluded due to the fact that the slide wasn't a big one. We'll see.
Ole Miss is limping into this game-injuries all across the board. Line opened at Ole Miss -2.5 and has stayed there. Vegas thinks Auburn is clearly the better team. I don't do comparisons of how a team played versus others and try and compare them, but Auburn is better than Bo Wallace and the Ole Miss offense.
Ole Miss caught a good wind early in the season when traditional powers were down. LSU and Florida aren't great by any means and it was a cute charade while it lasted.
Auburn rolls and Ole Miss loses either at Arkansas(looking ahead) or vs Miss St

I don't think Auburn rolls.
I think it's a very close game.

If you were good at reading these type things you wouldn't be an ex-gambler.

Glad we are on your mind. If I were you, I would be more focused on my team. Hell, if LSU wins out and a dozen or so teams lose, y'all are right there in the thick of the playoff race.
