Ole Miss at #4 surprised even Arhie and he was recently on the committee. If Ole Miss beats Auburn they belong there and if they don't they won't be there long. Bama can get in the mix if they beat State and AU. So really Bama controls their on fate by virtue of who they have remaining.

When are they going to update the ESPN playoff commercial and remove the guy fishing?

WE GOT SOME REBEARS UP IN HERE.

I have a weird feeling that a lot of LSU fans will show up in this thread even though the thread title is supposed to exclude teams not in the playoff chase.

Are you saying that if LSU wins the west they won't be in the playoff? You seem angry at LSU. Your boyfriend didn't take a video of you saturday night did he?

I guess I can check in, since LSU, can still possibly win the SEC.
I know its not likely(at all)

LSU is in the picture in the sense they could still theoretically win the SEC title.

So yeah. In the playoff picture like John the Lesser is in The Last Supper.

I know Ole Miss fans generally try to forget recent history in college football, but crazier things happened in 2007.

All the top six control their own destiny. Any team in the top 6 that wins out is in.

TCU at 7 and Michigan State at 8 need help.

Archie wouldn't have been able to vote for Ole Miss, but he damn sure would have been voting for MSU, Bama, and Auburn. And that helps Ole Miss.

I was worried about how the SEC would do when Archie went out with the injury. They did just fine, though.
