They're top 4 material

They have one win over a top 25 team. Let's see how they do next Saturday.

No, they aren't.
At least not based off resume.
The top 3 resumes are Mississippi State, Florida State, and Auburn. Hands down.
Oregon has 2 better wins than Alabama. Certainly a worse loss, but those wins are carrying more weight apparently.
Ole Miss beat Alabama. They are ahead of them because of that result.

The rankings are less subjective now. Your resume actually means something now.

Yesterday Bama was supposed to get in on brand alone.

Yes, they are top four material. The teams they have had on their schedule so far haven't performed as well as they should have. There will be opportunities to prove themselves very shortly.

Bama controls there own destiny. Win out and they are Probable SEC champs and in the playoffs, lose and they are out.

Jeff Long still pissed about that 1-point loss.

They're throwing the rest of the country a bone. The country hates the SEC, but they hate Alabama more.

Everyone else does. Why would they be any different?

It's "their" and no they don't. Ole Miss still needs to lose another game

They will have a chance to prove it on the field the next few weeks. If they win out, they will be there. Plain and simple. That's the beauty of being a league with such great teams.

The only way they don't is if there are other 11-1 teams, which I'm not smart enough to figure out if that is even possible.
11-1 Alabama gets in, easily.

Absolutely. At the moment, the best win is what, West Virginia on a neutral field? Alabama fans should not worry though after playing LSU, Miss State and Auburn they will definitely be in if they pull off wins.

Alabama cannot be SEC champs as you stated unless Ole Miss loses. Therefore, they do not control their own destiny.

Yep, as they should in that situation.
Though I'm guessing his point was we don't control our SEC destiny, which we don't. If Ole Miss loses this weekend we will, however.
