I'm oddly not as bothered by the loss as I usually am

In the past I would've been livid to lose like that under the circumstances, but something just seems different. Obviously, you never want to lose, but this game stands to serve as a wake up call. We've now been put into survive and advance mode.

It feels like I've been teleported to 2008 again when I was still 75% Gator. Yeah, losing that game sucked, but I knew something great would come from it. The LSU game is starting to feel the same way. Sure, some of you are upset with Bo's comments, but believe it or not he's right and if Freeze is all in he'll trust his senior QB to go out and win instead of handcuffing the offense. Freeze needs to get back to the aggressive style that we all know this team is built for. Let our offense loose and stop calling plays not to lose. The screens to Quon and wheels to Walton need to be put back in.

We're going to be okay. The sky isn't falling.

I am with you. My wife and Dad were pretty mad, but I just went with it. This season has been above expectations so far and in my mind we are ahead of where we all thought we would be.

We win at least 1 out of the next 3 SEC games and that puts better than the previous 2 years and a winning record in conference play. We have an outstanding chance to win 2 more and might even get them all.

Losing to LSU was not the end of the world, the way we lost was a huge bummer.

This season is far from a WAOM season.

I'm pretty meh about the whole thing right now. If Freeze keeps up the conservative bullshite I'll be mad.

The differing comments from him and Bo have me worried. If there's tension between those two then it will permeate the locker room and our team will melt the frick down and we will only have one win left on our schedule.

I'll either be all in afte Saturday or giving up on the season. We'll see.

The only thing I'm mad about is the injuries and their direct effect on this upcoming game...

Eh, I'll be all in either way, but I'll be pretty pissed if we lose a very winnable game, like we did LSU.

That is the thing that has me most bothered, and that is immune to anyone saying the "3 years ago..." argument: The LSU game was perfectly winnable, and we shot ourselves in both feet.

It's just gonna be hard on me to remain emotionally invested in this season if I don't see some changes. That's all I'm saying.

Which is why I'm hoping Bo doing what he did at that press conference will make Freeze start to think more about opening things up.

We were never going to go undefeated through SEC play... No one is/was this season. I'd much rather lose to LSU than Auburn or State. Because at the end of the day, the LSU loss doesn't hurt us nearly as much as a loss to Auburn or State does. Plus, sometimes a team needs a wake up call. We beat Auburn this weekend, and it all comes down to the Egg bowl.

He's said all season that he would open it up when he saw leaning on the defense wasn't enough anymore.

Well that was plain to see Saturday night and he puckered up and shite the game away instead of doing what he's claimed he'd do.

Our offense better come out on fire this Saturday because the schedule only gets harder now.

He's now been called out on that. In public. If he responds how I think he will, AU's pass defense is going to be in for a long day.

Let us hope the playcalling and Bo's passing are both good at the same time.

My biggest concern is Freeze lack of ability to get his best player the freaking ball. He couldn't get Moncrief the ball last year enough. This year Treadwell is a big zass decoy. I don't see why we can't move him around. There is no way he should have less than 10 targets a game. No way.

This game this week is the biggest game of Hugh Freeze career. Why? This team could go from #3 to a two loss team who then feels they have nothing to play for. Going to the Cotton Bowl doesn't feel anywhere near the way it did in 08 if we only won 2 of our last 5. This program needs this win.

this..

RebelGator got a question.

You said 08 you were still 75% UF. What exactly is your story? Cause thats about like me. I was in the Swamp wearing a UF shirt when we won 31-30. That game was the turning point of my fanhood. Not just because OM won but because when that happened i realized i was more excited that OM won than upset that UF lost. I kinda felt like the Grinch does on Christmas morning when he heard the Who's singing. He just couldnt help but turn to the good side

And i feel like the team could possibly use this loss to LSU like UF used the loss against OM to give them the boot in the arse they needed to get going again

ESPECIALLY now that the committee still has us in the playoff. Maybe I'm just being a fan, but seeing those rankings made me forget entirely about losing to LSU. I'm fricking pumped.

Dad played at UF and I grew up going to Gator games. Ended up at Ole Miss just due to proximity to home.

My turning point was the Cotton Bowl that year. It by far the most fun I've had on a bowl trip.

I'd say I'm still 50-50, but not really so much on here just because we have like 10 Gator posters. Plus, the idiot State fans on here are just so easy to frick with.

I'm looking for a big 1st quarter for OM this Saturday. Rebels need to come out strong to get all the bad taste out of their mouths.

I'm bothered by how we lost more than the loss itself.

I agree with everything you said. Gotta go back to the bubble screens. I know freeze wants to be balanced but, frick that. The pass can open up our run game and the bubble screens are essentially runs.

I agree with Dores except to say if Quon is doubled then someone is open. Who is in Quon's old slot position? Go with Pack and feed him the bubble and 7 yard pass.

Bo had no time to hit the 15-20 yard pass last week but nonetheless kept trying. Shorten the stroke.

And what has happened to Engram this season?
