I looked at the stats to see what Coops total was after his big game on Saturday and noticed the astounding gap between Cooper and Bama's second leading receiver
Cooper: 71 rec 1132 yards 9TD 9 catches per game
White: 23 rec 243 yards 1TD 3 catches per game
*#2 WR has 1TD, multiple RBs have 2TD catches for 2nd on team
Difference: 48 catches 889 yards 8TD
The difference between Bama's number 1 and number 2 WR is roughly the nations 7th leading receiver, Tony Lippett from Michigan State 42 rec 889 yards 9TD.

Cooper really does deserve the Heisman. Damn. And Sims needs to try to spread the ball around. Jeez.

It's because he's open.. and honestly, the rest of their WRs aren't very good.

So basically, we have to cover him.
I don't think they've been that great running between the tackles this year, but they should be able to do it on us because that's one of our weaknesses.
I think we'll run the ball on them too. And their secondary is barely above average, so we should be able to complete a few throws.
Higher scoring game than people think.

he IS their offense. Crazy that its that lopsided in terms of targeting him and he's still putting up those numbers.

Stop Coop and you stop Bama.

I happen to think White is very good. Certainly a very reliable target and a great 3rd down receiver. And Chris Black is a 5-star who is starting to get in the mix after injuries early in his career.

Has OJ Howard been hurt? Only 6 catches?
frickin gumps are saving him for us
wow I thought he was more productive last year. I guess that one catch and run has really warped my mind

It's a great WR and an average one. White is certainly serviceable. Black has 7 catches for 77 yards..
Take Cooper and replace him with another good (but not great) WR and Bama is probably a 4 loss team this season. That's how good Cooper is to me.

OJ is soft as shite. Huge disappointment. No need to worry about him.

Well...Arkansas fans would probably disagree.

I think he has the same amount of drops.

How tall is Cooper?
I saw someone say he was better than Julio
Julio to me is the model NFL WR. I haven't followed much Bama, but Cooper doesn't seem like prototypical NFL receiver although very talented. I think he will obviously do well specifically yards after catch etc. Is this way off base?

Bama is a one trick pony

shite, Arky did just that.

I wonder why Chris Black is not getting the touches - dude was very highly rated (higher than Cooper) coming out of HS.
Christian Jones has been a disappointment this year as well - can't catch and can't hang on to the ball. I actually thought he would be our #2 this year.
OJ Howard is not ready for primetime as well. When we tried (one game) to get him the ball - it became a disaster - Ole Miss anyone?

Your QB's passing ability is below average.

I worry about containing sims on a roll out, and keeping coverage on Cooper. Also concerned that Sims stretches us enough that it opens Yeldon run gaps.

I mean, we are in the top 10 in the country in every offensive statistic except for turnover margin. Seems to be working ok.
As Saban said, not just gonna spread the ball around for spreading the ball's sake.
