I'm trying to understand your field. Did yall a dig a hole to put it in. I'm watching the replay and the Kawasaki Mule on your sideline kind of gives the impression you have to crawl out of it. And the yard line numbers look like the speedo/tach numbers on my old 2005 Nissan Pathfinder.
Most fields I have been to started on level ground.

Are you saying our field isn't level?

I don't get what you are asking?

It does kinda look like there are levees between the stands and the sidelines.

It's like people have to lean forward and look down to see the game

It's like they're elevated on some kind of concrete and steel structure.....

Look, I know this is a troll but try harder.

Do you look up to watch games in your stadium?

My question why is the sideline at. 45 degree angle to the field. Why don't they bring in dirt to raise level of field to the bottom of the brick wall around the field. It looks like an empty swimming pool with grass growing in it. And that doesn't include the stadium. I am just talking about the field. Yall must not get a lot of rain because your field would be a pond in Mississippi.

Because it would make for very poor sight lines with the current stands. The seats while elevated, aren't that much different then most stadiums because the walls aren't very high. If the field were up to the base of the wall then the first 10 rows wouldn't be able to see anything.

The other reason would be that is a ton of money to spend for really no reason.

It's an odd design and it puts the fans farther away than most stadiums, but it is what it is. No feasible way to do anything about it.

You've never seen a stadium set into the ground like that? Weird. Obviously you've never been to Fayetteville, because the first 30 rows of Razorback stadium are below the surrounding grade. Its a natural ravine, though.

We were going for the Vandy BB court look; sounds like we succeeded.

Lots of people stop at the NEC of the stadium and take pictures like this because you're standing at grade, looking down into the field. And cheapskates will stand there to watch the game for free.

it was a rock quarry. Playing field is about 40' below ground level.

Most stadiums I have been to have the playing surface below ground level.
