Who do you think will be the top 4 teams the Committee chooses tonight. I'll say:

Mississippi State
Florida State
Bama
Auburn

Oregon could be in top 4

I think they'll mix it up compared to the AP/Coaches polls.

Mississippi State
Florida State
Oregon
Auburn

Bama at 7. I feel like they'll try and put Michigan State ahead of us, and will have us behind Ole Miss since they beat us.

Don't really care. If we take care of our own business and we're in. If we fall between LSU and Auburn, we don't deserve to make it. Simple as that!!!

I have a sneaky feeling they'll try and put Notre Dame in there. The 3 and 4 will be 2 of these...

Notre Dame
Mich St
Oregon
Alabama
Auburn

Today isn't the day. Whatever rankings they spit out are useless. It's still October.

But I'll say:

MSU
FSU
Oregon
Auburn

I could see Oregon, Auburn, Alabama and Notre Dame being in almost any order 3-6.

ETA: Not that I agree, but I see Alabama being 6. Have to consider Mich St as well.

What time is the announcement of their initial Top 4? And it'll be on ESPN right?

This committee will be sooooooo biased against SEC teams.

Clearly those rankings are a joke, but really they're not going to put Bama in the top 4 this early because they know it would be impossible to move them from there if we win all of our games.

Oregon
(TCU or Mich State)

This committee was put together to make sure the pie was sliced as evenly as possible between the power 5. I am of the opinion that, win lose or draw, there will only be 1 from any conference in the final four.

I tend to agree that if there are 4 legit 1-loss conference champs (or 1-loss ND) then at the end of the year there will certainly not be a 2nd SEC team. However, as of right now there is no way to predict the conference champions and I think that tonight (which doesn't matter) there is a good chance you'll see a 2nd SEC team.

My guess is

1. Mississippi State
2. Florida State
3. Ole Miss
4. Auburn

Oregon and Alabama on the bubble in that order.

Reasoning:

MSU undefeated in toughest division, FSU undefeated, Ole Miss 1 loss in toughest division and head-head over Bama, Auburn 1 loss to #1 team.

Oregon to give some balance and Alabama because they can't deny the greatness

ETA: Spot on!
