Will the commitee make a effort to list the top 4 teams tonight or will it be a troll to get everyone jacked up.

ESPN has this show at 7:30 in a prime time spot. You know they want high ratings. Plus, the committee must be relevant. If their top four matched the AP or coaches top four, what would be the use of having them.

There will be some upset people tonight and I think that is exactly what they want

Will be SEC 1 and 4 or 2 and 3 to make them play each other first round.

I actually think it will mirror the AP poll. They know they have time for the SEC to cannabilize each other.

I believe this would be the right thing to do but there is no fun in that. The committee is expecting a lot of controversy So I believe they will deliver just that

State
FSU
Auburn
Bama or Oregon

Controversy would be having 4 SEC teams in, especially with all the ESPN SEC bias stuff going around.

No bama because they lose to LSU and Auburn

It's going to be VERY interesting how the committee reacts at the end of the season, after listing these rankings each week. If you want to give heavy consideration to conference champs, then it doesn't help to have multiple SEC teams listed at the top of your own rankings each week and then suddenly thrust a couple teams above them at the end of the season when they win their conference.

I think the 4 will all be in the top 5 of the polls. They will let things sort themselves out. I still don't think the SEC will get 2 teams in, but I expect there to be 2 SEC teams in their top 4 for at least a couple more weeks.

If ND ends up in the top 4, this whole thing is a travesty.

Auburn's best win and loss are better than Bama's.

Auburn's only loss is to the #1 team.

Yes. This will probably be the only time that the public will be able to detect any biases or agendas within the new system. If they don't have 3 SEC teams in the top 4 to begin with, then we can strongly assume that there's going to be favoritism at the end. As you said, they really need some explanation as to their results tonight, not later.

This system is horrible for the sec; need a 8 team playoff and computers to be part of the system. Members have their biases.

I tend to agree, especially regarding the use of computers. As I said, we'll see tonight.

Its going to suck for you when Bama beats that same team you lost too. But you will make a new excuse at that point.
