was in November of 1945.

Here's some other shite that happened that month:

- The first issue of Ebony magazine was published

- The Nuremberg Trials begin

- The microwave oven is patented

- The Cleveland Rams win the NFL Championship

- The first ball point pen is sold

Seems like it was just yesterday.. But it wasnt... It was 1945.

I'm just joshing

They havent won it since 1941

Was this Cleveland's last championship as well? Just curious because they have a real shot at winning one this year. One could be an omen for the other.

Joltin Joe DiMaggio won the AL MVP the same year you guys won your only SEC Championship.

Yall didnt field a team in 1943... According to wikipedia the reasoning was "Damn webel lawyers and bear run media."

Sounds legit

This reeks of "we aren't going to win the SEC so I sure hope Mississippi State doesn't."

As opposed to OM like 20 years later?

Oh, forgot, neither has own and SEC championship. If you count anything before a championship game was played, go back to little league.

That's the same year Alabama finished ranked 18th and won the national championship against all odds
