Yall went from a conference where yall were in contention for 2nd place most years to a conference where the best you can hope to finish is 5th in the conference. Atleast Mizzou go placed in a division where they have a shot at winning.

Did you ever actually watch Aggie in the Big 12? They hadn't been a consistent factor since the late 1990s.

Actually, under Slocum, we were in contention twice. Both years we won our Division.

Under Franchione and Sherman combined, we were in contention once (2010)

How did that bowl game go? Much like Ole Miss A&M has had 2 relevant teams in decades and LSU beat both. That's the source of all the hate and stupidity from A&M fans. Talk all you want it is what it is.

In typical Sherman fashion, we started strong and fell apart as we approached halftime.

The A&M that exists today is not like the one you knew. We have more resources than any other SEC school and are gearing up to change the direction. Like you said, it's been dismal for decades and that takes a long time to move past. It's happening and will continue to. If you don't see the threat of A&M, that's your own problem. At the end of the day, I don't really give a shite what podunk schools around the SEC think of A&M since we make more, have better jobs, and such.

Actually our default place in the Big 12 was 4th at best behind Texas, OU and Nebraska. That means a small margin of error and we were scraping the bottom.

The environment in the SEC is miles better than in the B12. TAMU was in a toxic relationship with Texas and has never been able to really control their own destiny - they can do that now and there's a lot to be said just for finally having the ability to stand or fall on your own instead of having little control over your own fate.

Sure the conference is harder but the rewards are also bigger and better.

In the long run, no.
In the short run...well, they almost certainly would've beaten Notre Dame in the 13 BCSCG.

We have been hearing 3 absolute lies for years from A&M: 1 “We have more resources”, 2 “we have more potential” 3.”We have higher moral standards”
.
Let me quickly put these myths to rest.

1. These are the most valued Football programs according to Forbes magazine. A&M not on the list.

1. Texas ($129 million)
2. Notre Dame ($112 million)
3. Penn State ($100 million)
4. LSU ($96 million)
5. Michigan ($94 million)
6. Alabama ($93 million)
7. Georgia ($90 million)
8. Arkansas ($89 million)
9. Auburn ($88 million)
10. Oklahoma ($87 million)

2. Potential… how come rarely even one and NEVER two Texas teams have been top notch at the same time? We've seen Florida teams do that several times…. Alabama teams last year… even Mississippi this year… this Texas superiority is a myth.

3. Just see NCAA infractions, selling your soul for JFF…. A&M is corrupt and hypocrite.

This is not a forum about that..…but no you don't have more money than me. Let's just leave it there.

You're the first person to start this thread. Ever. Seriously. It's never been discussed.

What a cute LSU talking point. It's ok lil' buddy, as long as you did better in 2012 in your own heads, that's what counts.
