McKinney is the best lb in the sec and it's not close. AJ has so many tackles because his defense never gets off the field and when they do the Tenn offense puts them right back on.

McKinney is a beast. Preston Smith doesn't get enough love from yall. Before this week he was leading in sacks and ints.

You're truly one of the dumbest posters I've seen on here, and that's saying something. We have a top 20 defense this year and top 10 in stopping teams on 3rd down.

SEC, overall seems to be having an off year at the LB position but it still has a few beasts roaming the field. Ragland, Johnson, and McKinney being the top three. I'd give the edge to Johnson though. Not sure why all the overrated comments on AJ, dude is straight up beast mode, he's all over the field making plays.

I was talking about AJ's career.

Not specifically this year.

Youre ranked 45 the in 1st down defense and not in the top 50 in TOP. Teams don't always make it to 3rd down. Get a clue

ETA: you're not in the top 30 in total def. And not in the top 20 in 3rd down def
So run that dick sucker somewhere else.

I don't think Ragland is near Butkus award winner worthy but the dude is solid and he can really frick a ball carrier up. He has had a number of vicious hits the last 2 games.

It pains me to admit it, but Ragland is a BOSS. Hard hitter, good in coverage, versatile, devastating in run support and athletic as hell. His interception against A&M is an insane play for a player of his size at his position. I think his stock is going through the roof. It may be hard for him to stay in Tuscaloosa after this season.

Well, this award will be given based on THIS YEARS performance. AJ is much better this year and much faster than in previous years. Part of that is because of his conditioning and being a senior.

The bama first quarter changed the numbers, but Tennessee still has a good defense. So, your previous post makes no sense. So continue being a cock gobbling bitch if you want, but I'll call your arse every time.

UT is 6th in the SEC in total defense and ranked 19th nationally in defensive efficiency. So, you're post is a bunch of bullshite, frickboi.

I stated facts. You used biased WRONG opinions. Youve been found lacking. Boy

ETA: if you're gonna call someone a dumbass, you better make sure what you're saying is correct.

In a thread where he is listed as a Butkus semi-finalist?

Oddly enough, yes. I almost never hear him talked about on the cfb shows. There is little mention of him going to the draft early, though he very well could. He somewhat flies under the radar a bit for a Bama linebacker.

Why isn't Beckwith in consideration? He's only started 3 games playing 6 part-time. Let the sophomore get some love.

Jordan Jenkins, UGA 7 games
38 Total tackles, 17 solo
6.5 TFL
3.5 Sacks
16 QB Hurries
1 PBU
1 FF

Ramik Wilson, UGA 7 games
55 Total tackles, 31 solo
5.5 TFL
1.0 sacks
3 QB Hurries

A.J. Johnson, UT
86 Tackles, 51 solo
8.5 TFLs
1.5 sacks
1 INT
2 PBU
2 FF
1 Blocked Kick/Punt

Reggie Ragland UA 8 games
54 Tackles, 28 solo
6.5 TFL
1.5 sacks
3 PBU
1 QB Hurry
1 FF
1 INT

Benardrick McKinney Miss St. 7 games
45 Tackles, 25 solo
1 Fum Ret.
6.0 TFLs
3.0 Sacks
2 PBU
2 QB Hurries
1 FF

Kendell Beckwith LSU 9 games (3 starting)
52 Tackles, 20 solo

BTW, looks like A.J. Johnson will runaway with that award.
