If there's any meat to this story, I expect Jimbo to come down on him like a load of bricks. He needs to dispel the impression that he's soft on discipline and this looks like an opportunity that doesn't involve Winston.

I am not assuming anything. She will likely drop the charges and they will have do an internal investigation after he graduates.

Have y'all ever seen what a woman's arms look like from a guy holding her back from hitting/attacking said guy? Crazy women bruise just as easily as docile, battered women.

I'm with you.
A bruised arm isn't exactly a smoking gun when it comes to abuse.
Maybe I'm being insensitive, but it seems to be a far cry from CCTV footage of being knocked out by your partner.
