If it's by 1 point, I'll be a happy camper...

We really are. Of course it didn't seem that way after the first quarter against UT...but we looked really out of sorts after that.

With Cam out and our communication issues, I have a bad feeling about this one. We are better than LSU but I can certainly see us dropping this one. I was hoping LSU would beat Ole Miss, but I knew that if they won then we'd be walking into a whole different situation in Baton Rouge. It will be a hornet's nest.

One thing is for sure, we can't come out and play a tight game. LSU won't beat us by simply running the ball and having meh QB play...but if we give them short fields or cheap points, then they could very easily take this game from us. The offense will have to get some production.

I don't think the match up is as good for LSU as they had against Ole Miss. Bama can run the ball and keep the Tigers defense reacting more than Ole Miss could. A defense big enough to actually shut down the run better than the smallish Ole Miss Defense could.

So we could just do what we want to do against Ole Miss and have a pretty good shot at the win. Against Alabama the passing game will have to step up and play the best game of the season. Still stay true to the formula that got us here, but hit a few plays.

The defense will keep LSU in the game for long enough, but we aint holding Bama to 7 points.

Two weeks is too long. Sigh.

I agree with Gary Danielson when he says that you have to have elite QB play to beat us. Mettenberger played the game of his life in 2012 and we still pulled it out and there quarterback situation is not as good as 2 years ago. But beware, Brandon Harris, the back up, is a different player at home and if Jennings starts to struggle, they will go to him and in my opinion he is twice as talented!!!

I agree with that but its not like Brandon Allen or Bo Wallace put up Heisman numbers against us. Nobody saw Dobbs coming.

This year, we have been really weak on 3rd & longs. Hoping that doesn't come back to bite us.

Harris has the talent but he is not ready for that stage upstairs. He's a true freshman, no one would expect him to be.

LSU will keep it close to the vest and play to grind the clock and lean on the defense. Jennings wwill just have to make a few plays. That being said, don't be surprised to see some spread packages with Harris sprinkled in to keep your defense on its toes. If we win though, it will be because Jennings made enough plays.

He has struggled, but he, like Dobbs, can beat us both on the ground and the air. And in the one game he played at home, granted against New Mexico State, he showed superior confidence and there freshman receivers really responded well against him. And as far as Bo Wallace or Brandon Allen not being superior but giving us hell, they didn't beat us, we beat ourselves with turnovers and horrible communication, something we must improve on to beat LSU in B.R.!

They didn't beat us themselves but they did enough to keep their teams in the game.

My current early prediction keeps flipping between 10-0 Bama and 38-21 Bama

With the way we play on the road, plus not having Cam Robinson, I don't like our chances.

I mean, I agree that it will be tough, but lets not act like we don't have a good chance to win.

Depends.. Can we pressure with 4 down and not have to blitz or do we have to load the box? I like the first with our line rotation especially if we're fired up like we were against aTm. I could see us winning a 27-17 type game with 3 to 7 of there points coming off turnovers.

Not sure how much we will have to worry about getting pressure on the qb with 4 down lineman. If lsu throws more than twenty passes I will be surprised

If we can't run the ball it will be an excruciating game to watch. I'm not really buying into all of the sudden love for LSU -- Ole Miss and Wallace were bound to choke somewhere and that game was no surprise, but Bama is schizophrenic on the road this year and Robinson being out is big.

At best, 23-13, maybe.

LSU is coming together as a great team guys. They can run the ball and they can stop the run. A new LT worries me and we're gonna have to pass to win. This game is in the hands of Blake Sims and Lane Kiffin.

I could care less about style points... If we win 3-2 I'd be happy!! Ole Miss is gonna drop one more this season and if we win the rest of our games by 1-2 points, I'd be happy.. Cecil Hurt said it best, the SEC is about survival. Win and we're in!!

Just win baby, just win...

This WON'T be an easy game... LSU is looking dangerous and it's gonna be a dogfight...

We shall see. It's really just a big question mark on how well our Oline can re gel by game time. It will be interesting to see.

Sims and the WRs already know that they will have to turn it up a notch, so we will see if they can answer the bell. I think that they can.

It's going to be a very tough game but it isn't our toughest this year and a 38-17 win certainly wasn't our toughest game last year.
