By good I don't mean Ole Miss standard of good. I mean contending for titles good, like this year. They are an old rival and it's a lot more fun to play games like last night. It sucks to play Ole Miss when we're expected to throttle the sad program and team, so anything less is a disappointment. This is probably the first time I could even be happy about only a 3 point win against them.

What say you bears? Can the stars align in another twenty years and we crush your dreams again? Life is short, I'm not sure how much time I have on this place. Would love to see it again in my lifetime though.

Again? When were they ever good in the first place?

Chances are that they'll be good again in the next fifty years or so, give or take a decade.

LSU won and congratulations on the win. OM got out coached and LSU ran the ball down the OM throat. OM has a better record and is ranked higher then LSU. Let's see how the season plays out. Hotty Toddy.

Unfortunately next year, if their QB is any good.

crush what dreams?

Losing this game honestly has no impact on our season. Big picture wise. Yes it sucks to lose to LSU but oh well I'm over it. Already looking forward to Auburn.

Learn from Saturday night and dont play like shite against Auburn, Arky, and State and we are in Atl.

Thanks for grounding our team and giving us some motivation for the rest of the season

This.

I love how much LSU is loving that they think they "crushed Ole Miss' dreams". Anything to feel good about playing generally embarrasing football in every other game, and being virtually completely out of the title race.

I guess you could say going undefeated was a dream. But it was way down the dream list. Going to Atl is the top dream and LSU did not crush it, or even remotely affect it.

If OM was to lose a game, which the odds were they would, this was the perfect game to lose.

Forgive us as we have not nearly the experience as you in that department. We're open to suggestions and guidance

Did two Ole Miss posters in this thread just try to spin a loss as a positive or irrelevant? Haha. Awesome.

Last time they had a realistic shot at a Championship was 11 years ago in 2003. Wonder who ruined that party also.

Irrelevant with regards to dreams and their having been crushed? Yes. Irrelevant. Can you show mw otherwise?

Nobody is happy to lose, and losing is not positive. however, if this loss somehow helps us win our remaining games, you would call it positive in retrospect, no? I'm not saying it will, just a hypothetical.
