Is this article implying league off's are making calls based on the tv version of events?

They never had any to begin with.

The complete lack of integrity in SEC officiating has been obvious ever since the corrupt celebration penalty against A. J. Green in the 2009 LSU game.

^This. Except draw the line from Penn Wagers' getting perma-sand in his vagina following the Gator Stomp '07 WLOCP.

We knew this, but Periera's accusations aren't the least bit founded on evidence. He's simply throwing accusations around with no real proof. Looks really bad on behalf of Fox.

Any time I see Hubert Owens or Penn Wagers crew heading up a game I know there'll be some completely screwed up calls and apologies from the SEC offices on Monday,

I don't think so..there either is something fishy, or the refs are incredibly incompetent. Besides, I doubt if the Fox guy would say this without some justification or inside info he has learned about. Since ESPN has gotten involved with college football, there has been some shady stuff, imo Wayyy too much money involved now to honestly let chips fall where they may.

This. So the officials are conferring with someone on the phone, whatever. Frankly I hope they are relative to finer points concerning the rules. Periera admits in the article that he has no idea who they are talking to. It's all conjecture on his part.
I am much more concerned about consistency in the calls and in particular no-calls that could change the outcome of a game. Calls can be reviewed and the viewers can see the replays and decide for themselves if the call appears valid. No-calls by definition can't be reviewed.
