Lots of moral victories for the east tonight. The sad part is, the west teams are not dominant, they all have some pretty big flaws. But UGA is the only east team with a pulse at this point, and that remains to be seen when we play better competition.

I suppose it's not surprising, since the west has turned into a semi-pro league. Still, it's hard to see this turn around any time soon.

There appears to be a lot more parity in the league than was thought a couple of weeks ago. The championship's wide open at this point.

i honestly DGAF. it's actually awesome for us. everyone i have seen talking about it has been saying "the east is dog shite except for uga" or "uga only team worth a damn in the east" or something like that.

we are basically playing in the easy division but still getting the respect. sounds good to me.

I don't care either, except I hope that we're better than our division mates. Every other team in the east is really bad. Mizzou, Fla, Vandy, and Tennessee have no offense. USCe has no defense. Kentucky is mediocre all around.

That leaves UGA, and I'm still not sure where we fit into the big picture. If we have our offensive skill players back and show a multi-dimensional offense against Florida I'll feel a bit better.

Idk man, east teams played tough today. No room for moral victories, but to call them shite after the west got all they could handle is a little off.

They all played tough today, gotta give them credit for that.

Kentucky went toe to toe with the Number 1 team in America

South Carolina went into Auburn and scared the shite out of them

Tennessee kept it somewhat interesting against Bama

So the East may not be as good as the West, but its not as big of a gap as everyone thinks. A lot of parity in the SEC right now. I love it.

The entire SEC is up for grabs this year. Miss. State is the only undefeated and they looked vulnerable v. Kentucky today.

We got as good a shot as anybody.

If UGA makes it to Atlanta, nothing would make me happier to see the opposing team have Miss on the front if their jerseys. Biggest horseshite overrated garbage those teams are...

The gap looks pretty bad to me. Sometimes games are close because one team doesn't get fired up for an inferior opponent. That's the feeling I got tonight. It's sort of like Tech fans saying their gap with UGA isn't that wide wide because the scores aren't always lopsided.

After tonight, the East has won 1 game out of 10 against the West. Of the remaining games, I think Missouri will lose to both TAMU and Arky, and Vandy will lose to MSU. If that happens, every team in the east except UGA will have lost both cross division games.

I think it's interesting or I wouldn't have posted. We got new information tonight and it looks to me like the SEC East is an ACC level division. That's quite a big change from years past. If this is not interesting to you, it's easy enough to avoid entirely since I made the subject line revealing about what was contained in the thread.

The east is down. It's not a surprise. It's good for UGA. You want the path of least resistant to win a championship. That ACC level team just beat the almighty West champion in last years NC... Again, what's your point?

Parity coming partly due to most of the really good SEC west teams are getting banged up (esp ol miss) and aren't as good as they were 3-4 weeks ago..

Getting banged up is part of it. If you dont have depth your season can fall apart quickly. With uga its not just injury that hurts its the suspensions and dismissles that hobble us before the season even frickin starts.

No. Kentuckys QB went tot to toe. Th rest of the offense just tried to stay out of his way. The QB is outstanding, but the rest of the offense is not good at all. The Wildcat defense is average.

I's say JoJo Kemp is a good player also just underutilized, and Kentucky's defense can be strong with its pass rush after watching them play against USC/MSU.

Screw the whole East is down BS, yea Ufag isn't at the Urban Cryer level of past and the Sister Kissers are missing Fat Phil but the SEC is still the best conference hands down. UK could upset an Ohio State etc, etc. The conference as a whole is stout! frick the rest, the SEC is the shite!

I agree 100%. We have more time to let the D jell, Gurley back, Mason getting better, WRs come back (let's actually send Mitchell long) and ............

I look forward to the fray.
