I'm over the "Star" position

It's already cost us a few stud recruits and Therezie and Garrett get lost in coverage often. Therezie would have made a nice Safety and Garett a WLB.
We also have two good players in Nick Ruffin and Mackenro Alexander that have fallen into the "Star" pit.
Give me 4 down lineman and 3 big arse lbs next year please

The STAR position is a glorified nickel back with more focus on tackling.

What's funny is you're hating on a defensive alignment that is Saban's bread and butter for passing situations. A defense that has led the SEC for a long time.
