I, like some of you, crowned Coker the starter before he even transferred here. His physical attributes wowed me much more than Blake's experience with the team.

Damn, I was wrong.

I just saw this on AL.com and I can't believe that Sims is the best QB in the Saban-Alabama era.

Year ... Quarterback ...... C - A - I ..... Pct. .... Yards .. TD . QB rating

2009 ... Greg McElroy ... 103-173-3 ... 59.5 ... 1,325 ... 9 ... 137.57

2011 ... AJ McCarron .... 117-174-2 ... 67.2 ... 1,380 ... 9 ... 197.1

2014 ... Blake Sims ....... 117-176-3 ... 66.5 ... 1,748 ...13 ...249.7

I like how he puts a special coded spin on the ball that can only be caught with our WR's special decoder gloves. The other teams DBs can never decode that shite and drop it even when he teases them and throws it right at them. Blake loves to troll.

After the A-Day game, I think every Bama fan assumed Coker would come in and take the spot. All the credit in the world to Blake for putting in the work to get better. He's become one of my all time favorite Bama players. Also good to see Coker on the sideline always being one of the first out on the field giving Blake a high-five after a successful series.

When you describe it like that it almost makes sense.

I hope we get to see Home Blake on the road against UT. It will be tough because Cam Sutton is legit and will be covering Coop. I'm also guessing they will bracket him like OM and Arky did.

If he can produce there, I like our chances at LSU. If not, that LSU game will make me nervous.

I'd like to see him take charge in a road game.

We will see what he's made of over the next two weeks. Kiffin has got to take advantage of Sims' ability to run. If we come out Saturday and we're back to using Sims as if he's McElroy, I'll be upset.

40 carries for 208 yds, 5.2 ypc, 4 TDs, and the teams longest run, a 43 yd TD scamper

Bama's top 5 rushers on this season (Yeldon, Henry, Sims, TJ, & Drake) all have more than 20 carries and avg greater than 5 ypc

Everyone said this after the UF game and then criticized him as 'a-day Blake' after Ole Miss and Arkansas. A&M has a horrid defense, let's see how he fares against lsu, state and the barn.

He didn't have the 2009 or 2011 defenses to bail him out.

He's got the worst OL of any of those guys. the only possible first rounder or award winner in the group is a true freshman

He seems to mainly downvote any post that speaks positively or supports Sims.

I definitely earned some crow. I was pulling for a two-QB system going into the Florida game. Blake has surpassed my expectations in almost every facet. I actually wish he was QB last year. Roll Tide.
