@QBKlass: I very well may end up higher on Nick Marshall than a lot of people seem to be.

@OS_AlexBrown: @QBKlass he's one of the more gifted developmental QB prospects. Arm talent and AA in spades, mid day three if character checks out

@QBKlass: @OS_AlexBrown Very early, but I may end up a tad higher on him than that. Love the arm, feet and pocket movement look clean, keeps eyes up.

@QBKlass: That said, I won't buy "he's a system quarterback" talk about Nick Marshall. Nope, nope, nope.
quote:
@QBKlass: Backpacking from what I was saying last night, Nick Marshall's feet and pocket movement are much better than advertised.
quote:
@QBKlass: Still think Marshall is a developmental type, but it's more in regards to his grasp of offenses than grasp of mechanics and pocket work.

If Nick Marshall could start throwing in a tighter window consistently I could see it. Supposedly he is significantly smarter (at least FB wise) than his speaking ability would suggest.
Also, he needs to learn to throw a football with a higher trajectory. Like he is trying to throw it through a concrete wall

I can't wait for the Wonderlic score.

So was Gus right or not about not allowing NM to go see that QB coach or not?
I like the talk but instead of developing NM in the pocket I hope they roll him out to win games.

Glorious melt if he scores high on the wonderlic.

I was shocked hearing that too
What is Marshall more likely to be able to read, a defense or a novel?
That is the better question

Does this mean JJ will be the #1 overall pick?

What if he's actually some kind of savant?

Marshall did grade out as the most effective player in that AU/MSU game by a real NFL scout, so there is real analytical conclusion of him being good...but I just thought it was relevant to point out that this one particular Twitter account wasn't exactly being ran by an experienced evaluator .
