As a Florida fan on Bourbon Street after Ole Miss loses (as we know that no one stays in Baton Rouge)? I will join the melt with you guys.

LSU fans are the least of your concerns in New Orleans.

I was talking about all of the drunken rebs after they return from Baton Rouge.

The locals are the only ones you have to worry about in New Orleans

Unless the game is in New Orleans, or you're not taunting, I see no problem.

If you stray into the wrong area, Ole Miss fans would be a sight for sore eyes. Drunk Ole Miss frat boy or Marigny hood rat packing heat. Which would you rather face?

is this a serious question?
if so you're fricked son.
NOLA is no place for first timers. ESPECIALLY burbon st. good god.

What does this even mean? If you've never been to NOLA you should never go to NOLA?

let me put this in perspective for you. Last time I was in nola I had 2 guys try to sell me fake coke, one guy tried to start a fight with me and 3 people (one in a horse head) tried to pick pocket me.
the girl I was with got mugged and my friend slept outside of our hotel because someone stole his room key.

Was he too much of a pussy to talk to the front desk?

Definitely not my first time to New Orleans. I mostly just wanted to troll Ole Miss fans as I know LSU will win.

Just.... WTF. Besides the occasional homeless person asking for money or odd looking people on the streets, I have not had any problem. Sure you see a fight from time to time, but good god, I feel like most people bring upon this stuff onto themselves.

That's why you go uptown to party ya dingus, the bars are way better. Downtown is cool for maybe a couple of hours for one night to those that have never been to NOLA.

Don't know. I've been to a lot of major cities and nola is by far the most dangerous. I don't really like going unless its a big party and a lot of good looking women and free booze is involved.

You won't find many (if any) LSU fans on Bourbon. Uptown brah

Obviously, you're doing it wrong. It's one of the greatest cities on the planet. Those who think NOLA is just about Bourbon street and all that crap will more than likely run in to trouble in that area. The city has so much more to offer than that.

So uptown is near Tulane? If I want to head down, where do you recommend to watch the game?
