It's how he left...but Kiffin left that program in shambles and called recruits and told them not to go to Tenn.

You get it.

True but then our leadership decided to fix the problem by hiring a coach with a losing record from LA Tech that didn't believe in recruiting Olineman. Kiffin leaving in the middle of the night before NSD didn't help, but we layed our own bed by hiring a fool to Nuke the program afterwards.

I agree. I think the media is blowing this up way more than Tennessee fans are.

Tennessee fans are just looking for motivation, IMO.

Definitely. I can say this truthfully - I hate Dooley far, far, more. Kiffin fricked us to be sure but it could've and should've been repaired by now but we hired Dooley. I've said more than once Kiffin was more likeable than Dooley. Kiff could be charming even when he was being insincere but Doolz was an absolute a-hole 24/7 who treated people like shite. I've heard many things about Kiffin, including him being a snake/lacking in loyalty from the start as well as about his slimy recruiting tactics/behavior with coeds and all the way around BUT I've never heard people say he treated people the way Dooley did (and Dooley treated EVERYONE badly from former players, HS coaches to equipment managers and many more).

As mentioned earlier despite his at tines douchebag behavior it was how Kiffin left that was the left. I don't like either but it's Dooley I despite and for many reasons.

Keep calling 17 year old kids when they don't commit to LSU.

LSU fans do stuff a lot worse than just calling kids when they don't go to their school. Some of the LSU tards on this board were openly rooting for Speedy Noil to be implicated in a robbery and end up in prison just because he shunned LSU during the recruiting process

If anything it's richly ironic hearing an LSU fan lecture Tennessee fans on embarrassing behavior. Keep calling 17 year old kids when they don't commit to LSU

We're just trying to keep them from making a horrible mistake.

Don't judge

Sure I wanted to see Speedy in prison. But it was primarily because I didn't want LSU to have to deal with him on the field.

Dude, UT fans don't give a shite. We just don't wanna get blown out by bama again.

The media is the machine perpetuating this bullshite. I guess you're just dumb enough to listen

I mean don't get us wrong, we really don't like Kiffin, but the last thing I want is for the UT crowd to act like jackasses Saturday.

Best thing to do is to ignore him. Let Jancek take care of him.

Did the thread started earlier that had the link to Kiffin's mom's facebook page get the whack? Too lazy to look myself and the search feature sucks when I'm on my cell.

Alabama fans are like politicians- their aides feed them a line per year and they just use it over and over and over and over and over again.

LINK

"LSU police spokesman Lawrence Rabalais said his department will be taking special precautions, placing more police officers "around where the bus unloads and loads in case the fans try to throw things at the player or coach.""

"The "Welcome Back Nick" billboard near campus and the "Burn 'Bama" signs that have popped up through this state capital illustrate the price of betrayal. They are part of an advertisement for fans to attend a bonfire before the game at Tiger Manor condo complex, where they plan to burn an Alabama-shirted figure in effigy."

This was the reaction of LSU fans 5 years after Saban left....and they had won a NC with Miles.

I'm no UT fan, but the way Kiffin left made him look like a douchebag. Guy wouldn't even sit down for a presser, had to catch a plane.

This, as well as the fact that he and Orgeron (who has gotten off lightly) told recruits not to attend class.

Also remember that 1) Kiffin came into Tennessee accusing Urban Meyer of recruiting violations and 2) told Alshon Jeffery during the recruiting process that "he would end up pumping gas for the rest of his life like all the other players from that state who had gone to South Carolina."

Through all of that mess, Tennessee fans were extremely supportive of Kiffin, even when he sounded like a petulant brat. I don't blame them at all for feeling that he betrayed their trust.

I know a lot of the alums weren't including myself.

I cringed anytime that man opened his mouth. We're Tennessee. Our coaches don't resort to trash talking. That's left to our fans. Plus, I was convinced he'd get us in NCAA trouble sooner rather than later. And he did.
