Gurley has that "C" on his chest. He's a leader of this team, and he deserves the symbolic start IMHO.

Two weeks of being pissed at the NCAA, Richt, UGA, McGarity, and everyone in between.....because Gurley is suspended........

..But, now y'all want to suspend him voluntarily for the first play on principle? that's retarded.

Twilight Zone.

Dawgs receive. Kickoff goes for a touchback.

1st and 10 from the 20. Gurley lined up in the backfield.

I spy something wrong here....

Not to put words in GH mouth, but imo, this is more about thanking Chubb than "suspending" Todd.

It would be a harmless carry and would make Richt and UGA look really good in the process.

If Gurley had missed these past two games due to an injury instead of suspension, would Chubb still deserve the start?

Let's win a championship. What do ya say?

Start Gurley, run him til he needs a breather, then Chubb plays.

Chubb was "rewarded" with Sec FOtW and POtW the last 2 weeks. Gurley has been POtW 2 times. Gurley has earned this start and every start when he's healthily and eligible to play. This starting Chubb shite is stupid. Even he knows it's Gurley's spot.

fricking soft arse society. Ooooh, he played well. Let's take the first play and not have the best player in college in on the snap....durrrrr

After the way he has ran the past two weeks? Yeah.

Like I said, this is more about Chubb than Gurley to me. Chubb was tossed into the fire, as a freshman, against two SEC teams on the road and carried us on his back to 2 W's.

And it is only one snap. I don't see what the big deal is. Gurley will get his and then some I'm sure

This about his team and coaches honoring him.

With that logic I guess we should just never take Todd out then. God knows what will happen if doesn't play one snap.

Damn it....i actually heard the sarcasm and the retard saying durrrr.
having said that its only the first carry on the chubb side, but its THE FIRST CARRY BACK on the gurley side. The good thing is we have no control over it and can argue till we are frickin purple and bleeding like we got ebola and it dont matter.

Gurley and Chubb in backfield on first play. Double screen with a fly.

Which back averages more yards per carry on first down?

frick sentiment. Play whichever one leads that stat category.

I believe his name is Gurley II.

What would be more exciting...Todd taking the field under the radar with the other 10 players...OR...Todd running onto the field alone after Chubb takes the first handoff?

This is an underrated effect imo.

Todd is better, I'm not doubting that or trying to say otherwise. I just think it would be a nice nod to Chubb.

Gurley should start. He just might take it to the house on the first series. Dawg fans would go nuts.

I understand and agree with the sentiment. I just think we should move forward and never look back once the announcement is made that Gurley has been freed.

either way..........all that has happened these past two weeks is going to pay off huge for Georgia in the coming weeks and years.
