Isn't Carroll the only coach to win a National Title, and a Super Bowl. Luck will only take you so far. I don't like Petey, but you can't downplay his success to luck.

Only one to lose a national title for players recieving illegal benefits as well.

Again, if Carroll doesn't luck up and get Russell Wilson, then he probably still hasn't made the playoffs in Seattle and his career record is right around or below .500. The Cardinals missed the playoffs at 10-6.

Hate to been your heart, but Carroll made the playoffs with Seattle, while Wilson was still in college.
Eta: made the divisional round.

At 7-9. IIRC the only team to ever make it with a losing record.

He still made the playoffs, and won a game, which was in response to you saying if he hadn't lucked into Wilson, he STILL wouldn't of made the playoffs with Seattle.
